Today we also mentioned Accountability Partners and how it is important to get yourself one so that you can be held accountable to stay on track in achieving your goals.  Following is things you should look for when finding yourself an Accountability Partner.

  • A colleague that you highly respect
  • They need to not be afraid to push you and keep you focused (and be ok with you getting grumpy 🙂 )
  • Someone who you would feel guilty about disappointing
  • Although not necessary, it is a great idea if they are willing to be held accountable themselves for the business activity, so you can work together and hold each other accountable.
  • Someone who knows you and knows that you love procrastinating
  • They need to be able to commit to you that they will follow through with this
  • They need to have the time to help you as well.

Sometimes Mastermind Groups are great for accountability and this is something that Chris and I will be setting up in the near future, so watch this space 🙂
